Strategic Leadership Is Needed to Pave the Way

What You Need

Whether it’s the attention to detail or the unique offerings designed with you in mind, students and parents should be satisfied with how we provide public education.

My Strategies: Features

Strategies for the Future

Strategic Thinking

With a long history of education and a passion for learning, I have been involved in nearly every aspect of education, from teaching students to curriculum development in both the physical and online classroom. I have lived, breathed, and served in many volunteer capacities that support learning and knowledge, as well as being a part of policy creation and politics to continue working towards an improved system. This takes incredible planning and a solid strategy. Strategic thinking means that the board has to develop a vision for all of our students so that all will be able to achieve their goals and make significant contributions to our society.

This means we plan to have the best standards, the best staff, and the best resources. The School Board needs to provide the resources necessary to develop our students; our mandate is to carry this out and we should not be too concerned with carrying a huge surplus. We need to ensure our resources are used for the benefit of our students.

The 2021 Updated Curriculum

Exceeding Expectations

The new curriculum is one of the obvious issues that has been identified. How do we determine what should be taught to what age groups? How are students best able to learn, and how does that learning shift as they grow older? We must continue to critically examine the curriculum in order to make sure that it will help our students become significant contributors to our society.

My Commitment to You

Uphold Exceptional Standards

We need to provide opportunities where students can make positive contributions.

We need to provide opportunities to create and enable good leaders.

We need to provide resources, instruction, and staff who will validate, encourage, and develop students’ potential.
